Privacy notice
goalofthetournament.com is a static website. It has no accounts, no forms and no comments, sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or social media scripts. Fonts and images come from the site’s own host, and nothing is stored in your browser. Personal data arises only from the technical delivery of the pages, as described below.

Server logs
Each time a page or file is requested, the server records the IP address, the date and time, the address requested, the HTTP status code, the amount of data sent, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the browser and operating system identifier.
These logs are used only to deliver the site, to keep it secure against abusive requests and to find faults. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in running a secure and working website, Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The logs are not combined with other data and are not used to build profiles or to identify visitors.
How long the logs are kept
Server logs are deleted automatically after 14 days. If a log entry is needed to investigate a specific attack, it is kept only until that investigation is finished.
Hosting providers
The site is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH on servers in Germany. Cloudflare, Inc. delivers the pages through its network and filters attacks, and processes the IP address and request data for that purpose. Both act as processors on the operator’s behalf. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Union; it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Nobody else receives the log data, unless the law requires its disclosure.
If you write to the address above, your e-mail address and your message are used only to answer it, and are deleted once the matter is dealt with.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access to your data (Article 15), to rectification (Article 16), to erasure (Article 17), to restriction of processing (Article 18) and to data portability (Article 20), and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21). Send any request to [email protected]. Log entries carry no names, so a request about them needs the date, time and IP address of your visit.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live. The authority responsible for the operator is the Brandenburg data protection commissioner (Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg).
Changes to this notice
This notice describes the website as it is today. If the processing changes, for example if a measurement tool is ever added, the notice is updated first.
